The clients envisioned a welcoming family home, designed to comfortably accommodate both family and guests. The original property was an unassuming coastal residence.
This transformation began with the removal of the existing roof and the addition of a new first storey, featuring sea-facing bedrooms capturing expansive ocean views while allowing natural northern light to illuminate the double-volume staircase. A striking Oggie wood bridge elegantly connects the master bedroom to the children’s rooms, traversing the double volume space with uninterrupted views of the sea.
